Joseph Kojo Mensah, popularly known as Teacher Kojo, has been elected Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam Constituency after polling 858 votes.

He defeated his contender, Evans Ebenezer Mensah, who secured 624 votes in the constituency elections.

Teacher Kojo’s victory marks a change in the constituency secretary position, which had been occupied by Andrews Kojo Duodu, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ajumako Enyan Essiam, for more than two decades.

Arthur won by a margin of 334 votes; the biggest for the night

For the position of Deputy Youth Organiser, Samuel Biney Acquah emerged winner with 65 votes.

He was followed by Alex Appiah Quansah, who secured 44 votes, while James Marcus Otabil obtained 42 votes.
