NDC Opens Campaign Window for Executive Elections
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially opened the campaign window for aspirants contesting the party’s constituency, regional and national executive elections.
This was disclosed by the party’s Director of Elections and Technology, Mahdi Gibril, in an interview with Citi FM.
Mr. Gibril encouraged candidates to conduct their campaigns responsibly and present clear ideas, policies and programmes to delegates as they seek their support.
He also urged aspirants to focus on issues and their vision for the party rather than resorting to insults and personal attacks in their engagements with party members.
According to him, the campaign period should provide an opportunity for aspirants to engage party members on substantive issues and contribute to strengthening the party’s internal democratic processes.
The NDC is expected to elect executives at the constituency, regional and national levels as part of efforts to reorganise and strengthen its structures.
