Twifo Ongwaso Residents Appeal for Electricity, Mobile Network Connectivity
Residents of Twifo Ongwaso in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region have appealed to the government to provide electricity and reliable mobile network connectivity to improve living conditions in the community.
According to the residents, the lack of electricity and poor mobile network coverage continue to hinder socio-economic development, affecting businesses, education, healthcare delivery, and emergency communication.
The appeal was made when the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Hon. Isaac Yawson, visited the community to supervise the reshaping of its road network. While expressing appreciation for the road improvement initiative, the residents noted that access to electricity and dependable telecommunications remains a pressing challenge.
They urged the DCE and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Hon. David T. Vondee, to collaborate with the relevant state institutions to facilitate the extension of electricity and improved mobile network services to the community.
According to the residents, access to these essential services would boost economic activities, improve educational and healthcare delivery, strengthen emergency response, and enhance the overall quality of life.
They expressed optimism that the government would respond to their appeal by providing the necessary infrastructure to support the development of Twifo Ongwaso and improve the welfare of its residents.
